Sxs recommendations

Well, after haphazard research, I was ready to pull the trigger on a 570 4 seater. Then as life goes, my wife changed her mind. She suddenly decided a sxs was too fast for the boys to drive by themselves right now and wants a golf cart again. Not finding a lot for gas carts locally so I've been looking at electrics. Our land is flat, literally 5' elevation change across 25 acres. Internet says club cars are a little more robust than ezgos. 36 vs 48v? Ideally id like one that was already lithium converted or had shot batteries i could convert from the getgo. Any input?

Club Car has aluminum frame which will not rust but like to crack along any weld there is. The EZGO has steel frame and will rust on a battery cart but the tray is available aftermarket for real cheap. Problem with electric carts (especially the chinese lithium converted ones) is I wouldnt let them charge in any building i owned without me looking at them. We have read about plenty of fires from faulty batteries that have burnt them up. And you cannot put out a lithium fire without dunking it in water basically. You would have a better service and more resale potential with a sxs I think vs a gas cart. At least with sxs they are belted in with a real cage and not some 1/32 wall tubing thats only purpose is to hold a roof up.

Ill bring up all those points tonight to the fun police

I bet the sxs can have a limiter installed. Or very least, put a block under the pedal.

If going gas golf cart, I recommend Yamaha. They seem to have the best ones I have been around.

You just get what you want and she will be surprised and eventually happy. Win/Win

Check on some Yamaha SXS's. My 2019 Wolverine 850 has a speed management key under the hood. Stops it at 25mph. More info for the fun police to digest.

Saw this about rangers this morning. Already sent that and a link to a decent used 570 to her 😅

Bought it from hbs motorsports in Florence. Far and away the best out the door price i found. Couple grand less than the next guy. They came in off the bat woth a good price and I got them to throw in a roof and windshields for not much. I told them id be there friday with cash if they could hit the number I threw out. Hour later dude text me that they went for it. Got there and apparently the dude didn't do his math right and miscalculated on the roof. They told me the roof was extra, I showed them our text exchange. Salesman wasn't there but when they read his text they honored it. Gm was a little ticked because the extra money fornthe roof put them in the hole a little, allegedly.
