Got a blown engine you keep tripping over that you want out of your way? Consider donating it to my classroom!!

I know this sounds like a strange request. With the program I am apart of now I teach about how turbine and reciprocating engines work. We had a turbine training engine donated but we do not have a normal piston engine.

Ideally it would be able rotate and have the head and valve train. Closer to Concord the better.

I have a 22r in unknown internal condition that I could donate.
 
@DieselToyPullr has a complete Toyota 3.4L on his garage floor that he's been tripping over for a while. As far as I know, it rotates, but I'm pretty sure it was making some bottom end noises when he pulled it. He's in the University area of Charlotte.

But the only one I have is a 6.7 Cummins and there's several thousand dollars in parts I can extract from it, plus I imagine that would be a bit heavy and large for your needs. I'll be happy to donate a bent rod or holy piston if you need a "what goes wrong" :D
 
What @Kickdeez said. It's a rotating assembly. It had what I believe to be a spun bearing. I put it together with another 3.4 5vz-fe using the best parts. Timing belt and intake are separated, but I think everything is there. It's yours if you want it.
