My guesses
Texting and driving, front tire dipped into the soft shoulder and he whipped it over
Or
Used the wrong controls and dipped the blade into the shoulder

It’s been a while since I’ve taken an over the handlebars spill, but the last one I still remember vividly. The end of the handlebar got my ribs too. I imagine between the sternum and ribs you couldn’t sneeze, laugh, or do much of anything without reminders.

Done this crap on flat ground and gravel in front of the whole church group. First bike I owned with a disc brake. That brake being the same side as a motorcycle clutch. I came in real hot and was gonna lock it up and whip some gravel on the folks standing around. Nope its not a clutch! Cartwheeled so fast I did a complete front flip and land on my arse. If wasn't for a church group I'd received anything from a cussing to life long ribbing.

Last hurricane down here devastated my uncles house. He needed a cord for a generator and I showed up with two cords. One a regular 220 male/female and one male male death cord. He gave me a a funny side eye and I didn’t say anything, just got in my truck with a grin and left.

New job is kinda cool. We do theming and scenic environments. Think Disney/Universal creative immersive environments. Metal fab, carpentry, fiberglass, paint…

Went for a walk over to the sculpting rock work area and one of the artists areas had this guy from the movie Labyrinth.

Wish I could post PICTs of work in progress, but NDA. Maybe after my first project delivery.

Thanks to @Jody Treadway I was able to get back at building the rolling chassis for the 81 Scrambler. Few more bits to do and then I wait for my body guy to get done in a few months. Time to decide on the drivetrain. Axles will get cleaned up once it warms up.

My son has to build a bridge for his Geometry class using 250 round toothpicks and Elmers school glue. To get maximum points, it has to hold 86+ lbs. Of course I had to get in on the fun. I've built one, and have two more under construction.
