On one hand it seems dumb that we still do manual registration. And I don't think this has anything to do w/ Iran, low recruitment numbers, etc.

However - raise you hand if you're thrilled about the .gov pooling its info to FIND all these people.
Yeah there's birth certificates to go off of but those are 18+ years old

Conspiracist in me believes this is a sign of the upcoming unified database for tracking everyone

Prosecutors said the children did not have schooling, meaning none of them can read or write. Several of the children cannot without feeling pain. The 13-year-old kept in a dog kennel was deemed "so grossly underweight that it was life-threatening."

It’s a modern term you boomers don’t understand. “I just cannot” means you are unable to. No further explanation is required because no further explanation is possible because some kids these days are being taught so poorly that they cannot express themselves properly and/or they are so lazy they don’t feel like verbalizing it. Clearly it hurts these children to cannot. Have some sympathy you bigot!

Definitely arson, there’s video of him starting it and saying it was because they wouldn’t pay enough for people to live. Amazing that minimum wage is not enough to live in California with such a high minimum wage. Almost like raising the minimum wage raises the cost of living or something.
Aftermath
He did manage to find a place where he can live for free now that he’s arrested. But all his coworkers are out of a job, and the cost of everyone’s toilet paper and diapers just went up. Big winning bro.

I honestly don't see how defenders in situations like this don't beat the perpetrator completely into submission. Maybe the rage drive doesn't come out as much in defense mode, but watching the video certainly gets me riled up.
