Currently have a 30’ x 18’ metal carport for my travel trailer. I’m tired of the constant mice and bird invasion. I want to fully enclose it with a garage door. Not afraid of siding the 3 sides but no clue or expertise for a garage door, especially one that’s 12’ tall. Anyone know of someone that would do this? Would also need to concrete the existing gravel.

what kind of structure does it have?
Sorry. Should have said that… it’s a total metal structure. Picture is not my carport but pretty much identical to what I have. Located in Concord NC

Get the tin and side it on the existing verticals. Frame the ends in with a simple 2x4 wall setup. The garage door opening will have to have king and jack studs with a header placed to support the opening. Probably 2x12 sandwiched with an inner layer of 1/2” plywood to make a flitch beam. Nail a glue the beam. Make the opening to fit a roll up door. Only issue is height and how you’d mount the channels for the door unless you went with a coil up style door.

Did not stay at a holiday inn express last night.

Listen to this Advice as a last resort lol

Call someplace like Triad Corrugated Metal or similar carport metal supplier and they can sell you the square tubing to frame up the end walls. They can also sell you the coil style garage door and a man door.

They sell the metal for the sides as well along with the corner trim. Most of those buildings have the sidewall metal run horizontal, so just measure the length and the height to the bottom of the waves.

Another vote for TCM. Good company from my dealings with them.
