Why is there so much variation in the size of a pair of pants? I buy a pair of 34” waist pants from one place and they’re too big, but other 36” waist pants barely fit. Measurements are not supposed to be open to interpretation.

Clothes sizes are ridiculous! I have XX shirts from years ago that fit just fine but today's XXX are tight.

Haha for sure. 2x too small (short most of the time) and 3x is a damn bed sheet. And I refuse to return anything. Usually pants as I typically just have shirts from companies or events. But I hate stuff that is incorrect sized

I will say, comfort colors t shirts have gotten obvioulsy 'smaller' for each represented size over the past year

Man, I am the opposite. I will return anything in a skinny minute if it is incorrect or disfunctional. The manufacturers and sellers need that feedback loop. If China just keeps selling wrong shit and we keep it and throw it in the landfill, they will keep making money, and we will keep filling the landfills with junk that doesn't work, perpetuating the cycle.

Mine is really good at shrinking shirts right around the abdomen. She's managed to shrink every friggin shirt I own in the past couple years!
