That looks like Scott Waters jeep. I bought a set of rockwells from him many years ago, and loved how he drove that thing everywhere.
 
I got a rare double-decker 3-cookie stack in my PB -Nexkot sandwich cookies.

34/ pck of nabs at 10.99 about .33c per. Snack machine at work is 1.00 per pack. Seems like a poor man’s deal to me.

Drilling some big holes this evening. 1-3/8” through 3/4” steel plate.

But it was easy, just engaged the power feed on the drill and watched it feed 0.006” per rev at 150rpm :D

But 150rpm was a little fast and took the corners off the drill.

Something I get a great deal of satisfaction from is sharpening drill bits freehand on a belt sander.

It may not be perfect, but it cut great! (Once I did both flutes ;)) Dropped it to 90rpm and finished it out without issue.

Yes and no imo. A lot of big town/small city departments buy them and never use them. Meanwhile, our late 80s (?) Dodge is point and pin it wherever we need to go. Most of these new "brush trucks" really type 6 wildland engines and too big to go a lot of places around here.

Tell Santa you need some annular cutters for Christmas. ;)
 
Nah. I have a butt ton of Morse taper drills and they pop right into the spindle on my drill press. Pretty much every size from 1 to 2.5” by 1/8ths, plus some 16ths in there too. The annular stuff is definitely more efficient though.
