100% the right thing. I love dogs, but that’s the methods the drivers are trained with. You are inviting the delivery person to your home when you order online. You have every right to protect yourself.
I didn’t hear sound in the video, so maybe the owner had words for the driver?
Regardless, he should have thrown the box and left.
We currently have an instance where dogs were released on a driver, driver got bit (really really close to his femoral artery if you catch my drift) and hasn’t been back to work in 2 years. Courts are holding up progress because of who the dogs owner is.
