I think it went down for a couple of reasons. It was sold, and it wasn't as good afterwards due to all the ads. The timing of the sale also coincided with the beginning of the end of many forums as younger users preferred Instafail, Twatter, and Failbook. Even this forum must have a fraction of the traffic it had 10-20 yrs ago. Old/long term members seem to slowly slip away and are not replaced.

Or it has the authors life story of how their grandma made it and the derivation of the dish and how it was Ghengis Kahn’s 3rd favorite meal after a day of raping and pillaging his way across Asia. And the cultural influences the dish acquired from his escapades before it even begins to tell you how to make the dish or even farther down to get to the ingredients.

It was bought by a company that buys up forums and milks them for ad revenue. Irate was ok for a while, I bounced once they started adding AI "assistants" and "mods". F that I'm out, I have enough slop that I didn't ask for in my life.

It was bought out, new owners made changes, everyone hated that, folks started a replacement site. Never quite had what it took to "be" the new Pirate.

Which shouldn't be available to minors, and cost money... While some minors will still get access, the humans at the other ends of these experiences are likely to recognize that they are dealing with a child, and really aren't likely to continue a 'relationship' knowing that.

The AI girl friend on the other hand is freely available to the minor, and doesn't have any fences on it for where the relationship goes.

Nobody wants to be charged w/ a Federal crime. If they suspect it they stop.
