What is your question I may be able to help I have a jeep bible. Seriously
 
i just wanted to see what type susp setup he was running b/c his worked very well and there are no aftermarket lifts avail.
steering setup as well just basics
there is one currently at my shop needing mods
 
That's me. What do you need to know?

Suspension setup is a spring over conversion with stock springs.
Dana 30 disc converted front
welded 44 rear
35s and a cage
Mine's a '72 so it already had a Saginaw steering setup (identical to a CJ)
Mine has a 4" dropped pitman arm and a heavy duty tie rod/ drag link.

nope, not even the Pre 71's had a CJ front clip. They did make use of the CJ Grill, but extended the top corners. They are different. Chris' front Clip is actually a CJ Hood, Fenders and Grill mounted on it.

But then, this thread isn't about front clips, it's his suspension.
 
a SOA lift with stock axles will get you about 5" or so of lift...that's what I'm running on my 72...with 32's...
