Just got back from Wranglin's place. An all day event, It was awesome! Lots of good trails, & events. My favorite, was the Aquaspeed event. Here competitors drive a course, while their spotter has to carry a pail of water in his lap. Each pail is filled to the same predesignated level. After the finish line the pails are measured & points deducted for the amount missing. Inevitably the spotters get wet. To their credit most of the spotters kept the water from splashing on their drivers. (Still not sure if this was due to commitment or the lack of desire to walk home.) This is really a fun addition to running the course when the weather doesn't fill the creeks. This day was even more fun than the last time. Once again the burgers & dogs were great & it being Wranglin's B-day, the cake hit the spot as well. Thanks again for opening up your land so we could have a place to wheel. Looking forward to the next time!:wheel: EDIT; if you were there (or wanted to be) & I didn't get a chance to tell you, I will try to keep track of all York county S.C. area events such as this one & meet-n-greets, in the LWW forum on the board listed in my signature. If you take the time to register on this board, you can join my club on the LWW member list thread. It's a free club, no dues!

Last time I brought my $7.50 digi camera. It was so crappy that I didn't even bring it this time. Paul is making a dvd. The dvd from the first one is awesome, & this one will be better. He shows stills in the dvd as well as action footage. I'll post here when the new one comes, & maybe you can stop over here one weekend to watch both.

That would be cool. I'm usually free Saturdays, Fridays I'm at Holman-Moodys race shop, and Sundays I sleep all day lol. Unless Jim Rose at the shop doesn't need my help, then I'm good.

Alright, I'll PM you when it arrives. You work at a race shop eh? Sounds like a pretty cool gig! I always wanted to design & fab chassis, While I don't know much about designing them, I do know a bit about fabrication of tubular framing in general. I was a welder/fitter for 16 years.

Well, I don't work there...................yet. I happened to know the bartender to the hotel that Jim Rose stays at while he's in the U.S. and he asked if I could come hang out one day. Well I've been going over there every Friday now, trying to learn some stuff. Oh and the engine builder there Knows Rick Hendrick, and is asking him if he could use me at his NASCAR shop.
