Not to bash on anyone... but i think it makes sense to post pictures of the item you wish to sell or trade on a thred. I'm sure it's annoying as hell as a seller/trader to e-mail pics to EVERY person who wants to see what it is you're tying to get rid of. Information is nice too, but a picture... well that's what makes the sell possible. Everyone wants pictures if they can't go see it for them self... SO START POSTING THEM!!!! It will make your life a whole lot easier and will save you time. Thanks!

He's not bitching (yet) that HE can't post pictures. He's bitching because other people are CHOOSING (a derivative of CHOICE) not to post pictures in THEIR For Sale threads.

If you don't like asking for pic's well then don't ask:flipoff2: Buy a star & you can post them too:shaking:

I agree.. it's ridiculous.. if you post something for sale post a picture.... it's just about as simple as signing in... create a photobucket account and you're done...

It would save a lot of wasted thread space w/ people requesting pictures... ALSO, after about the 15th request.. maybe one of the original requesters would take 1.5 minutes of their time and host/post the pictures they requested...

I'm all for NOT allowing "unpaid" members to list classifides... view, yes.. but list... no... Then there's no "I can't post pictures for some reason" crap.

Why not limit the "non supporters" to only 1 or two for sale posts. I know I do not have a diamond but it is becuase I despise paypal and never get around to sending a check to the address I lost awhile ago.

When you have alot of :poop: for sale... That's alot of pictures? Wasted thread space??? I can see both sides of this issue. Especially for cut and dry items.
I've posted items for sale before and refused to post pics for the reason that pics can be decieving and I would MUCH prefer someone to come look at it in person than to ask for pics of every angle. Time is money when you're selling something for cheap to begin with. If I got to go out and roll something over a few times, take pics and spend time downloading and uploading, the price is going up!!!:flipoff2:
Plus there's occasions when I have alot of work where I don't see daylight for weeks. When I get a mind set to get something out of the way, I want it gone then, not in a week or so when I can find time to post pics.

What evrybody needs is one of these:
http://www.eye.fi/

digi memory card w/ wi-fi built in so it automatically uploads to not only your PC, but a photo sharing site.
That removes a good 90% of the hassle.
Step 1 - take pics.
Step 2 - post thread with link to Photobucket.
Step 3 - drink beer.

IMO, I agree that not posting pics is annoying to buyers. Esp ecially since people who don't post pics also tend to be the ones who only check their PM/email box every few days, so when you ask for a pic, it takes forever to get a reply. And in the meanwile you may have come across anotehr item or somebody else is jumping in on it.
but, lets be honest, alot of times a picture is pointless too.

While I try to post pics whenever possible and easily available, there are just some items that shouldn't need a pic. My last for sale post doesn't have a pic. Who needs a pic of 1 used humvee wheel anyway??? they are all the same, used, rusted, dirty, etc. On the other hand, i posted tons of pics of a vehicle I had for sale. It all depends on how bad I'd like to "sell" the item

!

Unless its 100 items which I would still post pics of I deffinatly agree on needing pics. If i see someone advertise something and theres no pic, i'll just move on. Even if I was interested. Its so easy to take a pic and put it up that theres no excuse not to do it.

My biggest complaint is I cant upload pics from my digi to the site, they have to be resied or some crap...

Use a photobucket or similar account. It's free, and eaiser than uploading here, plus it does not use nc4x4's bandwidth. I rarely ever upload pic on any forum.

My complaint is people saying the want to buy something, or saying they will come look at it/buy it an then they never show up, and you never here anything else form them.

I understand things change, you changed your mind, you don't have the money, or whatever. PICK UP THE DAMN PHONE and say you're not coming.

That happens to everybody. It's called - not having common courtesy (sp?). But I never forget a screen name when that happens either.:flipoff2:
