Here's the deal. My daughter has a 2000 XJ with an auto tranny. She called me this morning right after I got to work to say that her car won't move. She said that no matter what gear she put it in it acted like it was in park or neutral. I just drove the thing two nights ago and it drove as normal as ever. I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary. It was pretty cold down our way this morning. I don't know if something may be hung up from being so cold. I had her try to let it warm up for a few minutes but it didn't seem to make any difference. Anybody got an idea of what would cause this just out of the blue? Thanks.

Daughter swears that it wouldn't move no matter what she did. I'm beginning to think that maybe the emergency brake cable was frozen and when it wouldn't move easily she didn't push it to. I don't know. I guess it's just one of them jeep things. Thanks for the input.
