Need propane help

I am in the process of coverting to propane. Last night i started it for the first time. It started right up but if i gave it any gas it would choke off. I am running a impco 425, model E and VFF30 lockout. Thanks

Did you advance your timing? New system or used? Are heater hoses run through the converter?

I am running a amc 304. I advance the timim and i have heater houses to the converter. It is a used rebuilt system.

What type of vacuum source is your lock-off connected to? Are you connected to Manifold vacuum?

No, but try another vacuum source

If you have a vacuum pump you can use it to open the lock off.

The lock-out is working fine. I am thinking it may be a problem in the Modle E. I can hit the purge buton and it will turns some rpm but that is the only way.

The vacuume port on the model E was not capped off. The way i mounted it to the jeep it was out of my sight.
