Thinking about changing from verizon to ATT, I know 2 years ago when I set up my account verizon's coverage was much better. These days I'm less than impressed.

Dead spots in front the high school, Foscoe, at work (hawksnest). New every two option is some HTC brand touch screen phone that's more expensive than an iphone is over at ATT...

Anyone use ATT and can tell me how good the reception is round boone?

I can't help you with AT&T, but I can tell you that T-Mobile has service in Boone now as well. We aren't really advertising it yet, but you can save a good bit of money over the others.

When i switched to AT&T (not in Boone), I asked around work if people who have or had AT&T.. My conclusion is that they've made big strides in improving their coverage over the last few years, so if someone doesn't currently have the service, take their stories about good/bad coverage areas with a BIG grain of salt..

Seems to be the story, I know several years ago AT&T had pretty bad coverage here (or maybe wasn't even available).

A data and voice plan is about the same with them as my voice and texts plan I've got now and I like the AT&T selection of phones better...
