I am at a stand still on my yj and i am looking for some advise. My original plans was a scout 44 front soa but the spring lays on the cast housing on the pasenger side and also found out the hard way,if i change the pinion angle i have to grind the axle yokes off and rotate them because they are set at 0 caster.Too much work
So,i got a old wagoneer 44 front passenger side drop that i was looking at and looks like i might run into the same problem with the spring laying on the housing.
My thought was to box the frame out and move the spring hangers on the wagon 44.But i'm not sure if i'm going to run into the same problems with this axle.
I need to stay around 61-63 wms to wms and passenger side drop. What would be the best route for me to go? I got a heck of a deal on 4.88's and a detriot for a 44 and would like to make it work some how but i guess if there is a easier way i will have to change my plans.Any insight will be appreciated.
