xj half doors advice

Looking at building a set of half doors for the #14 Snider Auto,HotDogMan,Snap-on,For The Floors...ECORS XJ!

I just picked up a cheap set of manual window doors and am thinking about keeping them intact and using them when wheeling in cold,rain..etc...

I guess I will be using the factory elect. window doors for the
half door donors.

I want to make them light, for racing, but still be as rigid as possible, as far as structural support goes.

Any ideas or opinions? PICS?
