Suspension Seats...whos got the best price??

Finally going to order my seats. Looking at the Baja Ultra since I am 6'5" and they are 4" higher. I am a little worrried about the width though, im only a 34" waist. Will the extra width be an issue for side support? Who has the best price. Would like to order these asap!!!
 
I'm 6'0, 180#, 33" waist and I have to take everything out of my back pockets in order to sit in the cheapie "regular" corbeau. The headrest also doesn't come above my shoulders.

The premier PRPs are cheaper... $250 base price, I think... but you can still custom order them. We put a pair of the "daily driver" ones in the CUCV. They're +4" taller, I think.

I want to clarify a bit what I said earlier:

Width-wise, I think the normal seats are good for ... er..? "average" width folks. If you're maybe... 38+ in the waist, you might want to make friends with people that have different seats and try them out before you order. That's really the only way you'll know.

I know the PRPs are more, and I know budgets are budgets... but once you start talking about spending +$400 on a pair of seats, being able to spend a bit more to get them built to *your* specs is pretty nice.
 
I can add....

I've raced in several different PRP's, some Beard's, and pre-ran in a set of MasterCraft 3g's...

NOTHING I've sat in compares to the 3g's....those things are a couch covered in feathers, then wrapped in velcro to hold you in.

Beard's and PRP's are pretty similar...which is cool, as I'm pretty sure the Beards are a bit more money.


and, with all that said, my rig has Corbeau's.....
They're cheap, so am I....and for a "trail rig", I think they're plenty of a good enough seat for part time use.

Mostly, ANY 'suspension seat' is going to be 1000% better wheelin' than the best stocker seat. From there, you pretty much get what you pay for.

Well if you can hold one a little my friend that works for a nascar team is building me a set for my toyota and I know he is gonna do a deal on them.... He is the seat man for tony stwert (spelling) so if you can wait I'm sure he would be glad to make you a set

He's building a suspension seat, or a racing seat? IIRC, most of the race cars run padded alum seats...
 
I think all nascar are running CF these days....coul be worng though
 
I have corbeau baja ss in my junk. I like them alot but im a lil guy. At 5'6" and 150 lbs i dont need a very big seat....hell i prolly coulda got some of the simpson kiddo seats. lol.

I did find these browsing the web the other day....look pretty dang cool too!
