i thought the same thing but its some from the one in high point, some in Gboro and some from Winston all going with us. its a big party up in the mountains by the river. this guy buys a bunch of kegs and has a big pig pickin every year and charges $13 a person, all you can eat, all you can drink.

Lol man, I know a few girls from the Highpoint one, have lost touch I admit. But yeah, thats the problem with what Im putting together tomorrow, I have a guarentee of 5 girls coming, but then a few of my buddies are coming and they always come solo or with another buddy. Fuck that noise.

well guys as much as i hate to admit it my "hooters girls camping trip" was my buddy talking it up so we'd all go. it was more like 5 hooters girls, who brought their boyfriends with them. needless to say, we were pretty upset with him when we first got there.
but after i got over it we all had a blast and it was the best camping trip ever!. we went thru 15 cases of beer, went tubing down the New River. begged the game warden to let us take my buddys Powerstroke with 38's down the river, that didnt happen, haha.
i know where ill be going again next year for sure, but ill take my own girls this time!
anyways, it was in Independance VA, like an hour and 20 minutes away. great place to camp and, great if you have a family. lots to do there. so sorry i dont have a ton of pics of half naked drunk ckicks like we all hoped for but it was a blast!
 
I'll update too.

Spent the thursday through sat at surfside beach, came home late nite saturday. Got to winston and holly said "keep going". So we ended up in Asheville for the 4th of July.

Asheville is PACKED for the independace day celebration. i think they said 20k people were there! street vendors, live music and great food. Stayed til monday and went to Mt Mitchell and took the parkway home.
 
We grilled burgers and brats, played some Rock Band, then went out to the fairgrounds where we met up with my parents and a bunch of their friends... they had been there since 6 with a picnic and tailgated for fireworks! :beer:
 
Met up with my brother and his kids...cruised down to Tbones on lake wylie watched the festivites...then came back home let the kids play in the sprinkler in the yard under the spotlight and about 3:30 we shot off the cannon....then the neighbors joined in and we went on until 5...which sucked because I haad to be at work at 8....what a start to a week....but it was good to hang out with my bro we dont see each other near enough. Something happened with his IPOD it got wet and kept repeating the same song over and over like a record player skipping...so we listened to Feelin' Good Again by Robert Earl Keen like 100 times...

The new river is the shit. I spent 6 hours tubing there sunday.
Went from west jefferson back to 21 south bridge. They have a nice state park there to camp at .

A buddy of mine had a cabin in West Jefferson up on the Helton Creek, The wife and I (Before the kids) would go up a few times a year and hit up Zaloos Canoes and ride the four hour trip. We would put in at the New River State park most of the time and take out at Zaloos.

yeah we did that saturday, the river was down pretty low and it took longer than id liked, we ran out of beer :beer: so i fell asleep and now have the worst sunburn ever! but it is a great place, beautiful landscape and that river is super clear!

Some friends and I had a small get together on Norman. There were the normal 4 B's: Beer, Boobs, Boats, BBQ... Some drunk dumbass played with a baby Copperhead, got bit, and still powered through, like a total badass. Maybe alcohol is an anti-venom?
