Does anybody have info on this XJ?

If he doesn't know that means it's stock gearing. If it had been regeared he would remember. Stock is probably 3.55 or 3.73
 
He says he bought it like it is so it's hard to tell....it does have an 8.8 in it so thats hard to tell too.

I'm assuming a locker in that thing. So just jack it up. Spin a tire and count the number of rotations of the dshaft to one revolution of the tire. 3.5 rotations to one revolution= 3.55. If there's no locker, spin the tire twice. Not exact, but it'll get you in the ballpark.
 
He's tried selling that overpriced thing like 6 times now and always gets pissy and deletes the thread.


+1...he wants 5k in axles and 1500 in lockers plus 4gs for that thing...wow
