We have three truck we use at the beach and would like to get a snatch strap in case we get stuck and a tow strap in case one of us break. I was told you can't tow with a snatch strap, is this true?

90 Bronco
2000 F150
88 Cherokee

So what weight limit or size strap do I need?

Thanks

A tow strap that you can get at walmart will work for a little while. Dont use it for winching or hard jerking. Dont get one that has the metal hooks on the end. When it breaks, those hooks become projectiles.

Snatch straps will stretch and then contract to "snatch" the stuck vehicle.

The straps that I carry are rigging straps for a crane. They are rated at 5t overhead which should be about 15t breaking strength. I got them cheap because they were out of date for OSHA regulations.
