109 U-Pull-It

Yes, I work across the street from it. Don't know about the one in Charlotte but 109 is ok to deal with. Not the best place I have evar been but not the worst also.

I have only been a few times. Every time, prices asked are completely out of line. Esp since they ask just as much even if you pull it off the car yourself. Like $25 for small trim peices and such, but they will not tell you thsi until after you have pulled it and show it to them. They also don't have a clue what they have/don't have wich is pretty annoying too. but hey, I've had a really hard time finding any place reasonable around W-S.

ratlabguy is completely correct

they are completely unwilling to move on the prices, which seem to be made up right when you ask about a certain item.

i actually had the guy tell me that a cracked side view mirror off of an old CJ was the same price as the uncracked one on the other side of the jeep

a different time, i was told that a stock, d30 would be "bout $700, but i dunno if i wanna pull that" when i asked how much it would be if i were to pull it ( i wasnt actually plannin on getting this, i just did this as a how-full-of-shit-are-you test) he said, "bout $700, them are in high demand"

i could go all night with the stories i have from that place

still, its a decent place to check out, the yard is categorized quite well

pull a part in charlotte has really good prices but the vehicles get stripped pretty quick. and it can be a PITA to find the vehilce u lookin for. so if find somethnig u better be ready to take it right then and there. if not chances are it will be gone..

I was just quoted $200 on a door the other day, and when I picked one I wanted, I told em Id only go $150 due to no window controls and a cracked mirror.....and they said OK.

Best place I've found 'round W-S is 21 motors. Unf its a real hike, but they guys are nice, and they have a LOT of trucks. Actually it only trucks. They'll let you pull the stuff yerself and cut a deal on it, and willing to bargain on prices, and don't care much about interior/trim stuff. Laid out really good too.

WIll you please shut the heck up

I've been trying to keep that gold-mine a secret

:D 21 is da straight up dookie! GREAT prices and smart fellers there too

S&J is another good place. They are just off of 421 north of Winston.

If your looking for somthing old Whites Auto salvage and Garage just north of King is a good place. I bought a early bronco D44 from them several years back for $250 with arms and steering and they pulled it out.

I like the way they do things also. Every part is the same price for any vehicle and they list the prices online. But as you said the vehicles tend to get raped very quickly. For example, I bought a 130amp 3G alt for $12. actually I bought 2 in case I need a spare. They bring about $60 for just a core.
