Better yet, spend that $$ and join UFWD.org, or Southern4x4 and become active in the fight to save the trails. PM JC on here, im sure he can put you in touch with the right people to help out.

I tried to help you before, Thought you made an honest mistake. Now I see your just looking for a reaction, Lets see what can I post and have people respond about it. Tellico is a nerve that can be hit petty easily. Hell you watch a bit Xtreme 4x4 does a on Tellico and you think you have the answer. Think again, Like JC stated I think you have the right idea you just need to rethink your methods.

They all dont pay,maybe a 1/4 of that does.These boards cost money to keep up and goin.
 
I would imagine some would go to Southern,and BRC to help with legal fees to fight for our wheelin spots to stay open.Is that why you havent ponied up $5.50,your afraid somebody is gonna pocket the money??? Even if they did pocket it your paying for a sevice you will recieve.

What would be the problem if the site owner KEPT every single red cent of it? I don't see where it's anyones business what a site owner does with HIS money.

I wasn't bashin at all,I was just tryin to offer some kinda answer.It does'nt matter to me what he does with my money.They can go to Jamacia every year on vacation on it,I would'nt care.

I have to agree with this 100%! Those of us who come this site for information and to make friends with the same interest could careless where the $5.50 goes.

This is a product it is not free those of us who enjoy it don't mind paying for it, if someone makes a couple bucks so be it. It is their right for coming up with the idea and wanting to do it.

As I said in a previous thread it is a discrace how many freeloaders their are on this site. I think this site is way to generous to the free poster I think there should be alot more limits on people with out diamonds.

As to the Posters original idea I have to agree it started with his heart in the right place but he has to understand our hobby is already viewed in a bad light and if we try to take back trails forcefully it will just errode our image further. There are courts and this battle is being waged thereand thats where it should stay.

i agree with this. its like downloadin songs and mp3s why pay 4 it when its free. like they told me before 1/4 of the site pays. the others dont cause they dont have 2 so they aint
 
the problem with no one paying is that if everyone had to pay there would not be as many people asking questions. i no im a freeloader but the only reason i joined this site a few years ago was to look at some parts or a truck somebody had for sale. shoot when i joined the board i only own a little s10 that could only fit 235s under it and the 4x4 was to get out of ditches after my dounts went south or after i got stuck flying through powerlines. but i can say this and carolinak5 has helped me with understanding 4x4s and what they are capable of.

and i now feel guilty for freeloading for so long that i think i might go and pay my 5.50

Ever been on Pirate? This is no where near a bashing. :lol:

I started on there looking for an answer to the dreaded D35 in my TJ, I posted up looking for someone to tell me that a Super35 kit was the answer because I didn't know any better. That was many years ago, I took my bashing and learned from it. Pirate has tons of tech you just have to weed though the assholes to find it. Unlike NC4x4, Had I asked the same question here I would have gotten the direction I needed minus the bashing. Point is this site is by far the best money I have spent in the last couple years, The people that I have meet along with the information that I have gain is well worth $5.50 a year.

Oh by the way, Its $20 a year over at Pirate (Which will not be renewed when the time comes)

i just asked a ?. i knew someone would answer something on it. plus noone has a answer my ?? i mean heck theres all kinds of stuff that could be done with the money 2 make stuff better. it dont really matter 2 me anyway.i mean heck its not like every person on here knows about payin dues. heck ppl dont even read rules on here. i was just wonderin thats all
 
FWIW. I have learned alot on this board. The vast amount of knowledge from it's members is awesome!
And i donate 20 bucks a year to show my support.
