Triad Trail Junkies has planned our 1st URE trailride for December 4th, 2010. Most of us will be driving up from Greensboro/Winston area that morning, and planning to meet at the Outpost around 9 am, some of us may arrive friday evening and camp. We will be camping Saturday night as a group.

All are welcome, we are still working on camping arrangements as of now, but because of the size of our group it looks like we will need a group camp site or 2.

We will be camping at Uwharrie Adventures/Stables, we have worked out an arrangement with Johnny that should benefit us all, and should be a truly great trip.

Everyone is welcome to come out.

As far as camping goes, it costs $5 per person, aswell as $5 per vehicle.

This allows us to wheel on the Uwharrie Adventures property, including the mud pit, the race course, and whatever else is available, including the rockcrawl, and whatever else.

According to the Troy weather forecast, 56 degrees and PC, so the weather looks good. I should be there with some dogs and BBQ! I look forward to your first club outing and the Toyota's as well!
 
@Hotdogguy, Great, we picked this weekend hoping to avoid the crowding that will come on the 11th, apparently other people thought so too, look forward to the dogs, probably try some bbq aswell, what time is best for us to come your way?

@LRGRNR, feel free to find us, we are mostly jeeps. Mecklenburg Mudders have said they will probably have a few guys tagging along for our group.
 
The NC Land Cruiser club is going to be in attendance as well. Looks like it should be busy. I don't know our final count, but I know of about 4 of us coming from SC and I am sure 5-10 from NC will be there.

Sure would like to have a picture with some FJ40's around the cart! I've wrenched on a few of them in my day and owned about a dozen!

Sounds like it will definately be packed, hopefully the trails don't get too stopped up. Maybe we could figure something out, keep the groups seperate, hit seperate trails at seperate times, help avoid any crazy clutter.
 
I will be out there this weekend also with a small group. Going to be staying at the arrowhead camp ground.

Terry, I am looking forward to the bbq. Havent had any of your bbq since the flats last year. I will make sure to be extra hungry.

That's about the same size as our group also.

What time is everyone hitting the trails on Sat? Maybe meet at the outpost and work something out?
 
Could be done, our group is growing almost every day, but I think most of our group will be there by 9 am, surely a few people oversleep. I will be there friday night though, can meet in the AM whenever to figure things out. We plan to head up to the DP around 12 to get lunch with Terry also, maybe a little later, but definately don't want to miss out.
 
I'm gonna be there in a red flare side f150 along with a Cherokee plan on joining yall at the stables to camp

Few hold ups this morning, but a few of us will be to Uwharrie and set up camp tonight if anyone is going to be there tonight, we might do a evening/night run tonight.
 
I think I will make an apperance today. Taking the damn SAT then will try and be there by three

I was looking forward to some hot dogs but I guess the weather ran him off.
 
I apologize to everyone that looked for me at URE! I came down with full intension's of setting up. But the drizzle and light sleet or snow is not what I call "weather permitting"! I can deal with the temps but not the wet! It would be spring till my stuff dried out! I was there and made a decision to not to set up. Again I'm sorry.
 
Yeah we looked for you at the DP about 11:30 and then again around 3:30, we had plenty of food with us and what not. Was a good trip, I will do a write up sometime this week.

A good deal of carnage, some crazyness, and probably alot of good pictures.

I know there is a few interesting pictures, sopost them here, or send them to me.

Thanks to all who came out, Sorry to Hinkle and anyone else for the morning delays, things just werent going for us at 9 am, 80% of our group didn't make it til about 10:15, and after they set up, it was nearly 11:00 before we hit the outpost to fill up, couple names I didn't catch, but the camping at the stables went pretty well.

Anytime we go, you guys are welcome, was good meeting the both of you.
Tim had the 4 door JK, Patrick and Scott had TJ's, and Dan had an LJ, and Chris had a YJ, think that covers the wranglers we had with us, let me know which vehicle pulled you out and I will get a hold of them.

If anyone finds it I will be sure to get it to you at some point.

Were you driving the stepside or the XJ? Names have really gotten confusing here.
 
Its no big deal I'll get it if I can but no rush order.

I was in the flare side I know it was Tim so I guess it was a jk not a tj
