I had to drill a cople of holes for the lines to run.
And i had a Jic/AN to Inverted flare, it the small one, for the cooler line, (input line)

Front Axle - High Pinon Dana 60, 4.10
Still in progress, but I am documenting my work, as i go....
So that people know anyone can do it.
The first step is the front axle and steering.
As i hinted above i removed the odds and ends from down there,
a month ago, getting prepared for this. So...
.
I have doctor pre-operation appointments spread out, for about 3 weeks,
and then, hip surgery (replacement), so.....the last 'rush' (ha ha) for me to get all these things done.
Today damn Dr. appointment at 2:00 pm, just about ruin the whole day.....
And that means, no go, on the CTB or the SHOP activity, :(
.
All the weight is off the jack stand, and i have a spacer (wood) in there too...
The leaf is flat !!!! Told you......
The last one is my carving out for the leaf spring bushing,
Next step is the front....
Its been resting on another piece of wood...
Need to wait until my u-bolt show up before i make the next decision,
how far up i can move the front of the leafs.....

I am going to be 'looking' for a 2nd CAB, prefer a late model 2000+,
prefer a 2001-2002 the last years of a 7.3l
NO HURRY on that, next summer, 5 years, do not mater.
But i will need one........
why - the van sat for 5-6 years,
the heater box gets messed up when leaves get jammed in there,
or it sat 'funny' but there is leak that developed from the heater box,
slowly letting water dip on to the passenger floor,
it not bad now, 4" round but the hole has started and the upper hole is there.
It is much easerery to swap a cab than to weed out the leaks.... (on this van)

Its on the wheels.....
Settling the springs out a bit... It came down a 1/2" last night. (nice!)
Had to get a tank for the welder
I need to put in a few brackets around the front area.
-Still need to figure out which shocks in will run
-Still need to figure out the steering arm,
I have bought a F350 arm i need to messeugh(sp) it a little
- Bumper brackets front
[i am using the factory brake lines/hoses, the fit great.]
And most of all i didn't have a move the horn !
Other pic, shows the room that the tire has room.
