2013 Ford F-150 3.5L Ecoboost

Yeah, I planned on reaching out to him once some of the dust settled.

Ford actually reached back out to me surprisingly to offer me a discount. They couldn't tell me what it would as it is a case by case basis and handled by another department apparently??

But they have approved my case to go to them.
Get it in writing before they touch it.

Unfortunately Ford discount was just a discount on a NEW Ford. Thanks to @Van-go he's hooked me up with someone willing to do the work at a legit shop.

Just have to decide between a new motor or used. I don't plan to keep the truck once its fixed so may just go the used route.

Unless someone is interested in a 2013 F150 with a new motor with a 3yr 100k mile warranty.

How much was the truck discount ...may know someone in the market who might make a deal with you

Hope you get it worked out.
Shane is a busy man. He’s dang good at what he does, but just be patient with him.
He does any work that I can’t do myself. From farm equipment to pulling the cab on my 6.7
He’ll take care of you

I've found several 2013 and 2014 Ecoboost on the FB Market place lately with just over 100K miles and "NEW" engines.

How’s the swap going?

Shane called me earlier this week and said he got the cab in the air and the old motor out.

Ford was nice enough to inform him the block isn't reusable so they can't accept it back as a core 🙄

Hopefully have it back in a week or so. Think he's had some delays getting all the parts

Even Ford acknowledges their stuff is shit hahaha couldn’t help man.

Yeah i was down there hanging out this afternoon.
I saw the holes in the side of the block. It’s definitely fubared.
Ford is having lots of problems with getting parts out the door. Even dealerships can’t get parts right now.

Thanks again for helping set me up with Shane. They did a great job on the truck for a fair price
So this thing is fixed now

Gonna keep towing w/ it or send'er down the road?

Hanging on for at least the next 3yrs, has a 100K miles 3yr warranty
Seems like if you saw something on a lot you liked you could make out well right now. Trade in's are in high demand from what I've read.

I know the next truck I want will be at Harlan in the month, you offering to trade. Really looking forward to how that 7.3 does longterm and hopefully I can pick up a 21' truck in about 2024

4100 miles on it now. Can't wait for Harlan tow. It's really hard to keep my foot out of it. It just sounds so sweet! Depending on the market and how this one goes I'm actually thinking of ordering one in 2 years.
