22r doesn't want the gas....

It's a 4 stroke engine so every other time the #1 piston is at TDC will the rotor button be pointed at the #1 plug wire.

I have a guy comming to work on it tomorrow...

We got the truck running this morning.......but it's only running on 2cylinders I can't get the intake valve for cyl 3 to open all the way.

I called the guy and left a VM. If he calls back then I will go get it.

It took us a while to get it running on 2 cylinders...the mech said that "If this peice of shit doesn't crank here in a few minutes then it gettin a damn sbc.".....hahaha

Valves not adjusted properly? Or cam worn out? I thought you said you'd had the top end redone.

The little pin on the end gear where the cam meets the dizzy gear pushed when I tightened the bolt in the end of the cam. That was making the timming off. repeated atempts to crank it while the timming was out messed up one or maybe two of the valves. I'm not going to do anything else with that motor. The tuck is staying as is so that it can be moved to whereever need be for the motor swap.
