I'm the weird guy that actually wants to put it behind a chrysler 5.9er. Great info though. I think I stumbled across that in the past and could never find it again.4-cylinder Dakotas and other RWD bellhousing ooptions

The Ram 1500 could be had with an optional manual. In 2000 the manual option was changed from what I’ve read. They are rare and most trucks got an auto. The 5.9 gas I have is a 94 so ideally I’d like to find a 94 - 99 Dakota or 1500. Of net the Liberty manual is rare too.94-99 dakotas with the 3.9/ax15 combo are all i know of. @ghost is alluding to maybe some ram 1500s but I can't find that on the interwebs.
It seems they're ALL rare or people are just hoarding parts. Im going to spend more for a bellhousing that I will for a decent junkyard engine lol.The Ram 1500 could be had with an optional manual. You’re looking for something that was probably on less than 10% of trucks sold in those years that is available to buy individually already pulled. I’ve come across 1 manual Dakota at Rusty’s in Marion years ago, and I pulled the trans but didn’t think I’d need the Bellhousing. That being said they’re out thereIt seems they're ALL rare or people are just hoarding parts. Im going to spend more for a bellhousing that I will for a decent junkyard engine lol.

I think the patriot is a transverse mounted deal. Thanks dude and take your time. You have a lot of healing to do.What about jeep patriots? I have several Dakotas here and liberty's. Cant get around to easy right now with a broke ankle but if i can remember i will have one of my workers check monday
Appreciate it!!Will ping my local yards... about 50% higher concentration of them around here (than where people have multiple teeth or brain cells)
There is one on ebay. I can't buy right now. Got word the building rent is stopping. So I've got to re-asses. Dodge Dakota RAM 1500 3.9L V6 /5.2L V8 AX 15 External Slave Cyl Bellhousing | eBayAppreciate it!!
I've been looking at that and told the wife that I'll just have to apologize if it shows up on the old doorstep. There is one on ebay. I can't buy right now. Got word the building rent is stopping. I almost pulled the trigger when I got notification it was posted. It with the Hollidays and everything going on with work I decided I’ll wait and see how things go the next few months.I've been looking at that and told the wife that I'll just have to apologize if it shows up on the old doorstep.
Yeah I think the closest I saw to NC was PA. Most I saw were listed as call for price. They're out there. Im just reluctant to buy without getting hands on first. Kinda want to take measurements on the bolt patterns to make sure I'm getting what I want as I can't really identify one from a picture. There were 8-9 search results found on car-part.com. Could be a good source, looked like $300 and up, with some saying to call. I have had decent success calling and seeing if they'll work with me and ship the part.
From what I understand this is the part number. Mopar part number 53006515 63605Yeah I think the closest I saw to NC was PA. Most I saw were listed as call for price. They're out there.
