Same as @ghost post. This is my hard to find part on my build. Figured maybe if there is more than one out there I may as well get in on the action. Will travel for a reasonable deal.

94-99 dakotas with the 3.9/ax15 combo are all i know of. @ghost is alluding to maybe some ram 1500s but I can't find that on the interwebs.

The Ram 1500 could be had with an optional manual. In 2000 the manual option was changed from what I’ve read. They are rare and most trucks got an auto. The 5.9 gas I have is a 94 so ideally I’d like to find a 94 - 99 Dakota or 1500. Of net the Liberty manual is rare too.

It seems they're ALL rare or people are just hoarding parts. Im going to spend more for a bellhousing that I will for a decent junkyard engine lol.

You’re looking for something that was probably on less than 10% of trucks sold in those years that is available to buy individually already pulled. I’ve come across 1 manual Dakota at Rusty’s in Marion years ago, and I pulled the trans but didn’t think I’d need the Bellhousing. That being said they’re out there

I'll find a unicorn somewhere.

What about jeep patriots? I have several Dakotas here and liberty's. Cant get around to easy right now with a broke ankle but if i can remember i will have one of my workers check monday
I think the patriot is a transverse mounted deal. Thanks dude and take your time. You have a lot of healing to do.

I've been looking at that and told the wife that I'll just have to apologize if it shows up on the old doorstep.
I almost pulled the trigger when I got notification it was posted. It with the Hollidays and everything going on with work I decided I’ll wait and see how things go the next few months.

There were 8-9 search results found on car-part.com. Could be a good source, looked like $300 and up, with some saying to call. I have had decent success calling and seeing if they'll work with me and ship the part.

Yeah I think the closest I saw to NC was PA. Most I saw were listed as call for price. They're out there. Im just reluctant to buy without getting hands on first. Kinda want to take measurements on the bolt patterns to make sure I'm getting what I want as I can't really identify one from a picture.
