35s vs larger tires?

Back in the early 2000s you could get a set of 35x12.5r15 Dunlop mud rovers for about $400 mounted and balanced. Tires are too damn expensive these days. I have nothing else useful to add.

Something to keep in mind is unless you buy a tire/wheel combo that comes already mounted your gonna have to either mount them yourself or pay to have em mounted.M&B could add $100-$200 to the price.Something else to keep in mind is that with 35's and one tons the 14 bolt is gonna be a land anchor unless you shave it.I have a CUCV Blazer w tons and 42's and my 14 bolt drags quite a bit.

If I was going to run swamppers I'd have no problem with 15" steel wheels, go to 17s and you have a lot more options. Go to ton axles you'll want to run no less than a 37, 38.5 because you'll drag on all kinds of shit that you wouldn't with that 10 bolt and 35s.

Hell, when I bought my 39.5 tsl's, they were only 209 each back then. So yes, tire prices are stupid.

Go check discount tire they're running a pretty good sale right now. I just bought 37x12.50x20 Cooper STT PROs for $348/tire which is cheap for a 20. Their17s are even cheaper.
