36 x 40 x 14 Garage

The building package, three 12x12 doors, two walk in doors, engineered prints, and freight to my house.

@oscar80 Anything you would change or any advice on getting one of these?

Don't get the peak translucent panels. The guys I hired to do the roof didn't know crap and installed them wrong and they leak like a sieve.

I still like the ones on the back wall.

Ooooor - get better roofers?

@oscar80 I got a quote for a 40x60x14.5 with three 12x12 doors and two walk in doors. I think it was right at 25k. Not too bad. I think I may wind up going this route also!
Go 14 on the doors if you can. I got 14x14 doors on the front wall, 12 wide on the back....the 14 gives more wiggle room, especially with a trailer backing in..

My RV is 8.5 wide, plus maybe a foot of mirror on each side. 12ft door just leaves 1.5 ft total, or about 9" clear each side. 14 door leaves me 21" or so clearance.

That much, I knew. I like the idea of letting light in...but having plastic panels intermingled with steel panels has never given me warm fuzzies. It'll have plenty of lights in it.

Having always worked out of a building with a standard 7x8 door, I'll be tickled to death with 12x12s. I may check on the price difference, but I know I'll have to go at least 16' tall to fit the 14x14. I guess I could do a 12x14 though. I'll have to see how it would change the truss spacing or if they can fit between them. I'd like the door frames to go up between the trusses and not hang below them.

engineered prints

Make sure that means signed & sealed by a NC professional engineer for your specific site. The design should also include anything and everything that you expect to hang from the structure.
