37" Sticky Tire Opinions

Don't forget sales tax...your number is very close to my racer cost BTW.

You've ran treps and BFGs extensively...be interesting to hear your thoughts on the 2...

You cannot beat Reds for strictly rockcrawling. However for a mix of terrains and most importantly, sidewall strength, you cannot beat Treps. I loved my Reds, but Treps do the same climbs, easier.
If, and I wish this wasn't an if, Interco made a sticky 37-40 SX, that's where I'd love to toss some $$$ for purely southern wheeling.

Goforth claims he can get any size in a sticky. From conversations from others that have inquired, Interco says they will make any current US tire in a sticky with ~50 preorder.

x2! I've been looking around at options for my H1 rims and only found the Irok's in sticky. I love my SX2's for the sidewall strength just wish they were sticky!

I think goforth gets sticky 43" sx's in 16.5......
That is my understanding too. When I can I plan on getting something in the sticky flavor but right now it's research and see what a change to 17" would cost. I really like the double beadlock I just don't like the tire I run for the amount of power I have to put them on the ground.

If I was still in Texas I would pick the KR2s in a heartbeat. But damn the east coast and mud

The KRTs are badass in the rocks and sand. Damn near bullet proof also. I've seen them raced on the cords and hold up, but not so good in the mud

The KRT2s are as tough and possibly better than the KRTs in rocks and sand but a little better in the muck, still not great.

Red label krawlers... Well they're red label crawlers pretty, fucking awesome. Although I did see alot of sidewalls torn on sharp rocks

Treps are sick, cut through anything and keep on going. The tread could swallow a baby and not think twice.

I've seen Lakesea used and abused and they hold up great and perform extremely well. They measure one step harder than a red on a duromoter. 4 wheel factory out in Texas had some a while ago. Joey is a great guy to do business with

Never talked to anyone who used the falkens although they seem to be somewhat popular in WE rock and the 4500/4800 classes

Digging this back up.
I bought some toyo MT off road only tires yesterday. Are they true sticky’s? Or the harder desert compound?
They are going on @hurt4x4 ‘s cherokee.
