3rd annual get together Nov 18-20

I can try to be there. My current situation probably means a day trip, maybe crashing in someone’s trailer or meth bus.


Just curious, how many of you feel much closer with folks and/or just enjoy the forum a lot more since the G2Gs happened?
Faces with names and actual hang out time made it a lot different for me, in a positive way.

I think that is what make this forum different. Your recent experience with irate4x4 is a perfect example. We are supportive because we know you. Most of us here are good to one another because there is a good chance we will wheel together sometime or the other. That is another reason I only sell stuff on here. You can generally (except for Davids deal) trust people from here.

how far of a drive is it to the trails from this place? further or closer than the field was
 
Depends on which trail you're trying to get to. Just from Group Camp to the closest trail (Wolf Den) is shorter, but Group Camp to say the double parking lot on RM Loop or to Daniel is farther.

The total was 474. If I get anymore than that then….you guys tell me what you wanna do with it. I’m not experienced in setting up events, just didn’t wanna miss a good opportunity to wheel with the crew.

Yea considering I knew nobody before going to my first one last year, but I met a bunch of people from CTB and joined up due to the forum ride. Also I realized I was sitting in Duane's chair and next to him for a few hours before we figured out who each other were. We were talking over on irate/pirate for a while before the meetup. I still barley know anyone but I'll be there this year provided I haven't cut my Tacoma in half by then!

I grew up in FL as a teenager in the 80's. Use to ride my Honda 110 around the mud holes down there. I don't partake in the whole mud thing now but it was in my roots. If I had more money then sense I'd build a mud truck.
