4 x 4 beach. Corolla, NC

So I’m dreaming again. Looking for options on taking the wife to the beach. It will be the two of us and maybe our older dog. I’ve done some searching but not finding much other than multi bedroom places. We don’t need a 6 bedroom house. Anyone have any recommendations on places or companies to look at?
 
Wife and I have always found places on VRBO or Airbnb. We've always got one bedroom places, couple of them had full kitchens although we didn't use them. However we always stay around Nags Head, KDH or Kitty Hawk.

Always used https://www.twiddy.com/outer-banks/4x4/at Corova Beach and had great experience with nice places. Pro tip rates are WAY cheaper the week after Labor Day.

I guess I'm not very good or those sites don't work like I think they should.

That link did nto work but a google search found them. Are all the rentals out there weekly? I was hoping for a long weekend.

Not sure about less that a week. We did stay 9 or 10 nights through them about 6-7 years ago.
 
There is the Corrolla inn that does short weekend rentals. I had a couple guest at my wedding stay there said it was nice. Most houses in corrolla will be week only rentals till around october then the some of the home owners will except weekend type rentals. There are a couple of places up in Corova that do the VRBO type rentals but you will have to drive out on the beach to reach those houses.

Thanks for that info. The wife and I looked at it some over the weekend. That explains why everything we looked at was weekly.
