5.3 LM7 w/ Fuel Return... Line routing

looks like that walbro is for mustangs. have you used it with the 5.3 and installed into a YJ sending unit?

I have used it with plenty of different LS series motors approaching 600 crank HP in hot rods, never in a YJ sender though, but I'm sure you can make it work. Most of the big aftermarket LS swap tank manufacturers use a GSS340 pump. As long as your 5.3 is under 600hp you should be fine, over that you need to start looking at dual/triple or A1000 pump setups.
 
Lol!! I don't know man... I've been on the boobtube and I have heard way too many loud pumps with v8s. And been cruising Pirate and their juggy's and rigs and the nightmares people seem to be having with some of these external pumps doesn't sound enticing.

If I was building a trail only rig I wouldn't care. But building ground up with new everything... for same cost as another choice, I choose no noise!
Dustin has an external pump and it's not loud at all idk what it is but it seems to work well

I just thought about this the distance from the tank can make them louder. Most pumps are "pusher pumps" they don't suck very well. First pump on Dustin's truck was to far away and was loud and burnt up fast.

That's why I have a Holley blue filling up an accumulator for the e8248. Seems to work pretty good.
