Which is higher on priority list? Comfort or "speed". LOL. Speed + Samurai = not gonna happen

:D

So which should be first? YJ's or CV carb?

I'd vote for the carb. Get some miles on the Weber before you damn it, though. I hated mine off-road. The CV was as effective as a set of gears for me. I could lug it down to 200rpm, and a gentle touch of the throttle and it would smoothly pull on. The Weber would buck and surge trying to ease up from low rpms. Then there was the flooding. All in all, it wasn't worth messing with to me. I'm curious what springs you have. Some Bonz-Eyes or something newer and more flexy that bolts on in the stock location might be more cost-effective than going YJs.

You said you were considering efi, so springs now. Deal with current carb until you go efi.

I did engine swap first with CJ springs and it sucked because I wanted to drive it faster than my back could handle with stiff springs.

Ok I have figured out it has a 4.19 tcase in it and a 3in calmini springs that ride like bar stock. I am thinking of dropping down to 30x9.50x15 Yokohama Geolander MT+'s to get the gearing back to where I can go at highway speeds. The Yokohamas will also drop over 100lbs in unsprung weight since they weigh 35lbs and the TSL's weigh 60lbs.

Also going to order a MySide2 and CV carb at my next paycheck.
