Woke up at 3am with a Yadkinville destination. Picked up a top shift tcase for the doubler from @mrzack. On the way home stopped in Greensboro for a coolant bypass hose from @hurt4x4. Thank you both.

Another early morning. 4am... I finding that I can get a bunch of time in while the wife and baby are asleep, and be back when they are just getting up haha. I have seen some weird hours that some of you guys are updating and building over the years. If finally makes sense... kiddos haha!

I used a bunch of different type cup brushes and wire wheels to clean up the boxes to get the buildup off. I assembled the crawl box and went to install the roll pin, to realize I reinstalled the shift fork on backwards. Tore it back down, cleaned off all the silicone, made it right.

Another day this week I will seal and bolt the adapter/ crawl box to the full case.

Awesome tow pig! Also great to see more substantial progress on this thing. Glad you didn’t mess around and sell it.

No much progress on the samurai. I’ve been working on my BILs Jeep this week. It has been in need of some TLC and a new clutch. Throw out bearing was trashed. New oil pan gasket, rear main, valve cover gasket. Flywheel, clutch, master, slave, etc.

I have been busy on the Ford F-350 also. I had problem with the truck stalling out while driving. Every time I would touch the brakes, the truck would shut off. Fixed it with a new voltage regulator. So far, n

ew alternator, voltage regulator, cleaned a bunch of grounds, and now on front brakes. Installing the new soft lines are a real bitch with the clips behind the brackets on the frame! Still struggling with them.

More F350 work. It started leaking from the fuel filter housing where the fuel heater plugs into. Common issue. I deleted it with a pipe cap like all the IDI guys do. While the fuel system was open i put a one piece filter, fuel pump, and a set of glow plugs in. I want to do injectors soon, just not on this check after Mother’s Day presents. Minus murdering my batteries after purging air out of the system, it is starting/ running so much better.

I saw this thing in person a while back. I dig it a lot. I would love to wheel something like this. Small and light like it is, it’s really cool man.

Glad to see you back on it and making progress. Hopefully we can wheel together this year.
I hope to get it going this year and I would love to go wheeling with you. I made a big list last night. Justin @tobaccoroad4wd is trying to get a small group together @adamk @Chris_Keziah so we can spend a weekend cranking it out. I just need to get my act together.

Last night I had a few hours to do a bunch of welding on the passenger side tube and motor mounts. Mocked up the intake as well. The rest of the time was mapping out the additional stuff needed in the engine bay with Justin. I have some parts on order. I’m so ready to be done welding on the front so I can start reassembling. My work space will really clean up once the parts start going back in.
