sweet jeep build. i'm building a hp44 and i HOPE i don't take it out. haha. gets pricey $$.

gets pricey $$.

Yea, I "thought" the D44 was expensive. Wait til you build your D60 (and you will)

Should have my new axle joints from ECGS tomorrow. Picked up a new set of wheel bearing this evening. Paint and final assemble tomorrow. Then the jeep goes on to the lift to remove front and rear axles to start the rear link and stretch. March 31st deadline is rapidly approaching.

Won't the pressure of the rotating gear mass wear off the yellow paint though? And once you close it up no one will be able to see it. Seems like a waste of time to me.

Otherwise, looks like you are doing a fine job.

Also, you could have just bought The Krawler for about the same as what you put in your D60F and not had to do all the work :)

I was waiting for someone to post up about the gear pattern. I have not added oil yet.
Jon, I am way too far ($$) in the the red Jeep to turn back now :driver: Plus I really like the V8 rumble

Looking good Steve. Are you going to make your deadline?
Not looking good at this point. Will have a better idea after this weekend.

Thanks for the compliments on the shop.

Made some more progress this weekend. Damn the 4 link calculator is kind of confusing. Got things figured out I think. I am making the uppers adjustable(3 inches) for the time being to see what happens as it appears moving the uppers makes a big difference in the AS figure. Once I figure out what works I will weld them up. Going to thread the upper links tomorrow and install them before I make things final. I also think I am going to move the lower links down on the axle once I get the shock on. Anyway...
