My mounting brackets cut and ready to be drilled. I tacked them together and drilled the holes, that way they would mount the exact same.

Here's a pic of the Drivers side in place. I drilled out the stock shock mounts and use the original holes for these. I didn't want to do anymore drilling in the frame.

Here's the rear shock hope with the tabs welded up and ready to be painted. It's painted and ready to go in. I ran out of time before going to work so I'll install it tomorrow and take some pics of it installed.

Here's a crappy pic of one welded up. I could have made my own tabs but I figured for $10 bucks I'd just order some. That way all 4 would be identical. I think the welds look ok but I think I could have done a little better.

As far as the SAS goes the rear shock hoop will finish it off. I'll do some test driving and some flexing to see if everything is ok and then go from there but I'm hoping all is good and I'm done except for some minor things.

I am waiting on my trans cooler from summit to get here so I can finish my Saginaw swap. Everything is done with it except for installing the cooler. Probably won't be able to get it done until I get back from the beach a week from Saturday.

Well rear shock hoop is done. After it was brought to my attention that the cross bar could twist I came up with this solution. We'll see how it does. Going to put it in today.

Took the BKO out for a test drive today and then drove it to work. I'm really pleased with it except for some small things I noticed.

1 - I've got a slight viberation in the rear and it's just like a u-joint is bad. When I'm on the gas I can feel it but when I let off it's gone. So I guess I'll look into that.

2 - The steering it tight but is also very responsive. I don't have to turn the wheel too quick to turn. As a matter of fact I'm afraid too quick a turn could get it a little scarry. Which this could also be due to the height of the rig. A lot of top weight.

Now on the above I'm kind of thinking that with the H2 wheels have so much backspacing that they need to come out a little bit. I'm thinking of possibly getting some 1-1/2" spacers to run on it unless I ditch the H2's for some other wheels with less backspacing.

3 - Feel like the shocks are too soft for my likeing. Now offroad they may be great but it seems a little bouncy. I may have to go to a dual shock up front.

4 - Definately going to have to get a steering stabilizer on it.

5 - Brakes work good and stop it but when I get on them hard I can smell them getting hot. I think the fronts need to be turned. They look kind of funny. Pics will better show what I'm talking about. Kind of like a glazzing on them or something.

I know this seems like alot but I'm really happy with the way it drove. On the four lane it was smooth as my 2500. Get rid of the viberation and it would be almost smooth as silk. I'm sure I'll find other stuff the more I drive it.

It's been a while since any updates so I thought I'd post up a shot of my new, to me, wheels for the bronco. I've always wanted a set of Raceline Monsters. I finally found a set close by and at a good price.

I just got the H2's broke down and the RL's mounted up and on. I took it for a short drive and with no balancing they seemed pretty smooth. Sorry for the night shot, I'll try to get some daytime shots this weekend.
