A fair trial?

I just watched the released dash cam footage and I must ask, why does he suddenly take off running toward the officers? I was on the suspects side until now.

They held the blood evidence until the beginning of the trial, alcohol and weed in his system at the time. Now I'm not against either, buuuuuuut........
