The wife and I went to the Aerosmith/Lenny Kravitts concert saturday night. My wife LOVES aerosmith and has been wanting to go to one of their concerts for YEARS.
It's been a few years since I went to a concert.
Chicago in 85 ...yeah I know... a sleeper, but I was a teenager and my mother wanted someone to go with her , Van Halen in 84 & 87 with a friend and his parents, Poison in 90 with a friend who was family of the one that talks all raspy (didn't really care for them at the time, but it was free and back stage passes) Bush & Alice in chains in the mid-90's and Monsters of rock, with a buncha bands one summer....don't rememeber allot about it other than it was HOT and beer was $9
then Reba with the wife in 96 ...but nothing since.
We took "Ruby Boobies" and "Legs McGraw" who are my Bosses daughters...."Ruby" is the 25 yr old blonde Panthers cheerleader (no, not that one) that generally wears poured on clothing and ain't no bigger than a mouse fart. We call her Ruby Boobies cause she has some really expensive ones she nearly throws out at everyone with her choice of skin tight, low cut shirts. And "Legs McGraw" is her older sister, who is the financial guru here at the office, as well as a crazed Lenny Kravitts fan. "Legs" is nearly 6ft tall and drop dead beautiful, hence the nickname
There was actually a motive for inviting them OTHER than because me and "legs" are buddies here at the office. For the obvious reasons, they have the inate ability to GET YOU THINGS.
Yes, they are the types of girls all women HATE. The girls that get away with murder because of their looks. But hey.....they can be exploited for my benefit, so I used them ;-)
I did rather enjoy dinner at the steak house with all these folks staring at me, wondering how the hell I had 3 hot blondes all to myself.
Yes, I was THE MAN YO!!!!!
Our seats at the concert were OK....we were on the lower level, one section off the stage to stage right about 3/4 of the way off the floor (under the canopy of the upper level though)
Well, Ruby Boobies see's a sound man that is right in front of the stage who does the sound for the Panthers and knows him...so she goes down to talk to him to see if we can get back stage passes. 'Legs" goes down afterwards and hob nobs too. The wife and I sit and enjoy our decent seats with a couple of $5 cokes with 9 quarts of ice, and 3 oz of coke.
10 minutes later, "Legs" comes back grinnin. Seems she talked with the head of security and he told her to come back in 20 minutes and he'd have her tickets for better seats.
Just as planned she goes BACK down and sure enough he has seats on the front row to the right of the stage basically sitting beside the flank stages set up on either side of the main stage
Which is BETTER than the floor because you're just off the floor and the SAME level as the stage.
So Lenny plays and "Legs" goes nuts (she loves him) and he comes down in the crowd and walks around the outside of the floor seat slapping the hands of folks in the first row (where we are). So sure enough he comes by us and "Legs" gets to touch him and hold his hand....she goes NUTS
Aerosmith comes on and My wife flips out (she is totally teeny-bopper over Stephen Tyler) They use the catwalk and are within a few feet of us. Literally Stephen could hold his mic stand out and whack us on our heads
My wife screams and has a fit, "Legs" and "Ruby" are having a good time screaming and snapping photo's like a paparazzi uncovering Brad pit humping Densel Washington, and I'm kinda just grinnin and taking it all in (I look goofy cause I'm not rockin and bouncin around like everyone else) but it was fun.
Saw some drunks....well, lets be honest, saw a SLEW of drunks....mostly old farts. One who pissed his pants and slipped on some spilt beer who had to be stretchered off (you see a WHOLE lot in the front row overlooking the floor)
Saw LOTS of breasts. Seems women in this situation love to pull up their shirts. The wife was even pointing them out to me so I wouldn't miss em I was even graced with this one OLD & fat lady just down in front of us, flingin her bra up on stage at Joe Perry...she then turned around and jumped up and down. Ugg I had to look...why? train wreck I guess....it was like a hand fulla sand in a tube sock. Anyway, she cracked both of her femurs and gave herself a concussion with her saggy breats a floppin and had to be carted off
All and all I had a good time, But quickly realized "I'm too old for this" Ears were ringing pretty bad the next day. Made the sermon in church go bye faster
One things for sure....If someone or something comes to town and I want to get better seats or a "once and a lifetime" opportunity, I'm fo-sho takin the golden girls!!!!!
Oh, and the wife was fine with exploiting them. She got within 5 ft of Stephen tyler so she didn't care.
