I swapped out the inverted "y" steering in my 96 dodge for a 99 "t" setup. My normal alignment shop (they have a rack but it is not a specialty alignment shop) cant seem to get it to spec now. Any suggestions for a shop near Winston Salem that can handle a non-standard alignment? It also has a leveling kit on the front as well.

Shouldn't be anything special about that. What can't they get in spec?

I didn't think it would be anything special either. They didn't say what was out of spec. Right now it pulls to the passenger side something fierce.

Did they give you a printout?

Maybe their alignment tech only knows how to follow the computer's instructions and the hardware swap has him huddled in the corner in the fetal position?

:D That is my thought

And no printout, they said their rack wasn't big enough...

Snappy suggested rattle & hum automotive to me for an alignment on my Excursion a few years back after I swapped front suspension to coil spring from out of an 07 Ford.

I guess they did an OK job, but they didn't center the steering wheel for some reason, hindsight I should have made them but I guess I didn't want to wait longer, I don't remember. Local Mock tire where my friend's dad is the alignment guy was where I went first, but their alignment rack wouldn't lift the Excursion.

Not exactly Winston, but I've used North Davidson Automotive in Welcome.

Auto spring on liberty st. or The Tire Shop in Advance. My buddy Chris does all the alignments and will do it right.
