Looking for 35x12.50x17 or 315x70x17

conditions;

mostly on road, daily driver. weekends at Uwharrie and trips to the outer banks, so considerable hiway time.

I have had the BFG AT's they worked well.

What say ye great NC4x4?

(Please be sure to suggest round tires, they are the best)

BFG A/T's are a great tire. I have had 2 sets of them and absolutely love them. Although I am looking for something a bit less aggressive for my current 17 KL.
People also seem to like Cooper Discovery A/T's

Another for duratracs. I even have a 315/70/R17 tire for sale ;) I wheeled these on rough terrain and they never flinched.

I also have cooper AT3s on my daily grand cherokee. Not as aggressive as BFG ATs but still decent.

I've had both bfg and cooper at3. Liked both, coopers were a good bit cheaper, but felt a bit heaver and more like a truck tire. I would give the nod to the coopers based on price as I thought the performance was equal.

I like the Cooper AT3 but their tread design recently changed, so I don t know about the new design. Old BFG ATs were great. The new ones suck at least on a F350 but I’ve heard a lot of good success on lighter vehicles. I have the Nitto terragrapler and like them as well. I think you’d be good with any of those choices as well as others recommended.

General has their updated all terrain now, the A/TX: GrabberTM A/TX they look pretty decent, 60k warranty provided you rotate them, etc.

Cooper ATs are generally the best bang for the buck. Slightly more street oriented, but thats where 99% of most peoples miles come from anyway. I have a set of the AT3 XLT on my truck now and I've been pleased with them. Haven't gotten it stuck yet. Also haven't tried to ;)

I’ve been impressed with the duratracs on my truck and my brothers Jeep. Great all around tire.

Thanks guys

Also, I just saw certain goodyear tires have up to $100 mail in rebate on them + if you use a Goodyear CC you can double that to up to $200.
too bad i bought 3 sets last year i dont need any lol

I’ve been pretty happy with the Cooper at3’s on my wife’s f150. Went with a 285/75r17. Just a tiny bit shorter than a 315/70r17 but around an inch narrower if I remember correctly. Picked up 1 mpg over the 315 general at’s it had on it before. I’ve also not tried to get it stuck but they’ve done well in the mud hole that my yard has been lately.

315/70r17 Cooper STT pro’s on my 2500 Dodge. I’ve been impressed with them too. A lot more aggressive than the at’s. I had Nitto Trail Grapplers on it before and liked them too. Got almost 40k out of them with no issues.

I decided on the goodyear duratrac. Thanks to @Bogleparsons for the discount code

Thanks for all the feedback

Cooper STMAXX I’ve got 40k easy on mine and still half tread balance great and quite on highway I’ll be buying another set when these wear out for sure!! Pricey but you get what ya pay for imo

I ran same size ko2 and I’ve been a BFG fanboy for years sine KM1 came out and I switched after running ko2s on a 1500 burb! My stmaxx are in a 2500 burb and I’ll tell ya the snow, rain is no match for the cooler stmaxx! Mud not the best but better then ko2 I had.

Any new ones that don't break the bank for recommendation?

Looking for a set for the bronco that is actually might get built now. Thinking Falken like I have on my truck, since they seem about 50 bucks a tire cheaper than BFG or Cooper
