another rear steer queer

awesome man... you'll quickly wonder why you didn't do it sooner..

Sweet. Now convince your buddy with the big orange buggy to do the same. His WB is super long for having one steering axle.

I need to do rear steer too, I can't steer my Jeep worth a damn. I think I've asked you this before but are you welded/spooled front and rear Brandon? Or do you have like a Detroit? Just wondering if a front Detroit would be worth it to help steering cause I seriously can't hardly turn my Jeep around, I end up doing the whole Austin powers back and forth thing for a while every time I turn :shaking:

You know good and well why you can't turn.. we told you you wouldn't be able to turn that thing in a 50-acre field when you were talking about doing the build..

Scrub radius

when my detroit broke and became a spool b.c the pieces were lodged allowing not to unlock. it was hard as heel to steer was much better after i fixed it.

Your shaved diffs look sweet, the build looks great.

Nice! You are doing some sweet work on that thing Brandon. :huggy:

Ricky, I agree with Rich, your scrub radius is why you cant steer... the welded front my hurt a lil, but not as much as it just being too wide...

Brandon, that thing looks good... now just get ya a valve off one of those 4WS forklifts...

I assume its cause I have welded diffs front and rear, hence the question bout the Detroit's possibly making it easier. It also doesn't help that I am running the stock Chevy box its way to slow for my Hydro setup :shaking:
Are you saying that your oribital is pulling oil to fast for you pump?

IDK, I don't think the pump is getting sucked dry, but it seems like the pump just isn't putting out near enough pressure to run the steering right, it turns, just very slowly and I usually have to be rolling somewhat to turn.

BTW Brandon, sorry to hijack your thread with another my Junk isn't working right issue :shaking::lol:

i do have a detroit front, the rear is welded. the detroit seems to help quite a bit. the pans come from mudd pro. he makes all of our brackets and he also makes the mowhawk covers. hes in hky and hes really reasonable with his prices. i got all my lines made today and all in need now is some clevises and tire rod ends.

i think ricky is hydro assist if so hes not running a orbital. ricky if i was you i would start looking for some orbitals on ebay. i may be able to get you one also.
a factory chevy pump is plenty to run full hydro if u have the right orbital
