There's a lot of folks here, that wheel. Some more than others. So this thread is about trails.

What about that place in Mitchel county? Everyone slept in the cave.

Except add Mitchel county and shoe creek and Darnell creek.

That was spruce pine/mitchel county. Ctb rode there a bunch, but one snowy trip everyone slept in a cave, except Brooke and I slept in a tent outside the cave and woke up covered in snow. Earlier that day She almost died when my jeep slid down the mountain ,without me in it ,and crashed into Hundley flipping his jeep over. So we wanted to celebrate life that night, in privacy.:cool:
 
Anybody in CTB remember when me and Lackey spearheaded a ride across Popular off 18 toward Boomer Falls and Russel Gap. Been years ago....that is now part of Brushy Mountain motorcycle area.

In highschool down in Charleston we had a mini off-road mud park that we'd all hang out at. It was called "turkey pin".
I'm sure if some found out what it actually is/was, they'd have us lynched even though that property eventually got sold to build an appartment complex.

Anyone here ever hear of, or drive around in a place called the dust/west bowl on the back side of beach mtn.? I grew up wheeling and camping here. Was a failed golf course development from the late 70s.

@Chuckman and I explored there before. One time we had a rear driveshaft issue and removed it, driving his CJ out in front wheel drive only. In the snow. Unlocked one hub when we got to pavement, due to the locker. Drove it back to Rascal's BBQ and the Pizza Run that way.
