any bottle collectors here? treasure found!

I'd be interested
In any blue glass bottles you find. Over the years my mom has collected blue glass, having friends in the forest service they find trash piles like yours pretty often

I found a small blue bottle. It's in the pic on the hood of my jeep.

Found this one today, mostly buried and full of clay dirt.

Marked 35 on bottom, L35 on one side, A35 on the other.

I have found dozens of brown Clorox bottles on our property. Makes me think they used them to purify the hand dug well that I found. Our land used to be part of a working farm up until the 50's or so, but since then some folks took the liberty of dumping their trash here and there. I will try to find a pic of the Clorox bottles, but for now how about a light bulb crammed into a mason jar with some manner of seed (pumpkin seeds?) attached.

I love finding cool things and/or interesting pieces of history. Unfortunately most of what I find is common garbage, broken glass and old burn barrel remnants.
Here's my Clorox bottle collection and some recent finds:

Sweet. Hit up the link I shared and you can learn more than you ever thought you needed to know about clorox bottles.

Here's a better picture of our treasure from the other evening. Also shown are a couple slices of wood that my daughter wants to paint like watermelon slices. Also..there were 18, not 12 of the brown bottles in a pack, underground. Still no clue why or what they were doing there, but they are 1953 lord calvert bottles. They had caps on and the insides were squeek clean. No smells or anything. I'm gonna talk to the oldest resident on our road asap and see if he knows anything. His family home was the original and only house down here in the beginning. I do know that our road, which is a dead end, used to be just a horse and buggy path to the old farm. I hope he'll have some insight.
