any good 4x5 shops in charlotte area?

There are no traffic lights between me and 4wheel parts. I have been in there twice and both times left with all my money. I am in the auto repare bussines and I would never treat a costermer of mine like thay treated me. I still need to make it to CRS. I am still looking for that perfect M715. Untill then I will wheel a stcok long bed P/U truck. I do pass CRS on my way to Mr. k's at lunch!

yeah...it's only one traffic light to get there...;)

plus, they eat at Mr. K's about 2-3 times a week, so you could just handle business over a burger and fries...

actually, we might be there today...:D

I laugh when I think back to when 4WP opened in Charlotte. I was unemployed at the time and looking for a job as a salesman. I went in to talk to them about possibly getting a job there, so I spoke to the manager. He went on to say that they only wanted experienced salespeople who were well-versed in 4 wheel drive vehicles. I explained to him that I had built my SOA Wrangler from the ground up with Scout axles, a Chevy V8 and drivetrain and a bunch of other stuff. He then asks me (even though I just got done pointing to my rig in the parking lot out front and telling him "springover",

"What kind of lift is that?"

To which I reply again, "springover". He points to the wall where the ProComp coil kit is mounted, and says, "You mean that?"

"No. You had better let one of your experienced salespeople who are well-versed in 4 wheel drive vehicles explain it to you...." And I walked out, never to drop a dime there.

If Andy's shop is that close to you, I HIGHLY suggest a visit. Many people have said it before, and I'll say it again. Andy is the man. He will be doing my re-gear when I can finally afford it. (I keep having unexpected bills zap my re-gear savings). His shop is now 90 miles from my house, and there are probably a half dozen shops in the triad that are closer, but he will get my business.

all of this said andy is the man bottom line hes rediculously knowledgable and if you call and just have a tech question andy helps you even though he knows hes not making any money off of it he's just willing to help and whenever I finally have money and am not a broke highschooler maybe I can take my xj up there for some bigger stuff than a broken trac bar bracket
