Anyone on here Fish?

Needing to get to places to fish/hunt that most people can't get to was my reason for first gettiing into 4 wheeling

That's why my wife got a jeep. Easier to get to the fly fishing spots up in the mountains.

That being said, we haven't gone fly fishing in ~4 years :(

Do have a bass boat, so try to go after those buggers at least every other week or more.
 
I see if I can haul anything out of the ocean off of Johnny Mercers Pier in Wrightsville Beach at least once or twice a week. Spanish have been running for the last couple of weeks.

I like to fish...
Catfish jug, and anything else I can catch...I'm trying to learn to Bass fish

We'll go deep sea fishing next week while we are at the beach (Dad and I)
 
I fish, mostly bream and such around the house with my 5 yo son. We also like to head to sneads ferry to fish the waterway.

Use to fly fish when I was in Cullowhee at WCU.

I grew up fly fishing. Now that I live in eastern NC, I only saltwater fish. I love surf fishing as well as trolling for spanish, bluefish, etc. I love to fish the deep blue, but it gets really expensive most of the time.

My father in law bass fishes quite a bit, so I'm learning that a little...
 
Too much! Offshore 2-3X a year, flounder gigging in my airboat and trout in the mtns about every weekend. Then its hunting season!

No wonder my rig is a 4 year project.

funny isn;t that the Trout unlimited want to close trail access. since that is how I used get to the places i trout fished. or atleast I did befor I lived in NC
 
I mostly fish bass, crappie, and catfish in the farm and neighborhood ponds. I also fish saltwater any chance i get. Anyone in the Cary/Apex area know of any places to fish that are worth checkin out because im lookin for some new places to fish nearby.

I fish alot for trout,lost my catfish hole after the floods most of the places are really close by my house or about a 30min drive,some of the trout ponds up here are giving away fish before they die because of the low water levels...umm trout with fried taters and cornbread sounds good this eveing,

Fresh and salt. Have not found a water creature yet that I would not eat. My favorite meat of all time is Shark cooked in butter.

What's it called when you wade and reach under the bank and pull them out? Forgot the word but never tried that. Seen it done right in front of me though while fishing from the bank. THAT'S what I call game fishing. The game of wondering if you are going to have all your fingers left.:fuck-you:

Never had a fly rod to try fly fishing either?
 
Ill catch them lake wylie critters... Im still trying to catch the infamous snakehead fish that someone caught a few years back.. I know there are more out there!
