Anyone ride trials bikes?

I like it, have had great service out of it, basically only had to replace normal wear items(chain, fork seals, etc) and I've beat the living crap out it for several years now. Here it is just before going up the waterfall at Callalantee before they shut down and the last pic happened just after I got there, gravel roads hurt worse and prove to be a little more challenging than actual rocks/trails sometimes!lol

Ouch. I'm guessing you don't ride with upper body armor on?
Actually I do, it just didn't work that well for me this time! If it could move and expose flesh it did, tore through some gear and re adjusted other.

On another note, if there is a down side to a trials it would have to be fuel capacity. It may appear to be just an ordinary cranberry juice container to the untrained eye but that's actually my extended use tank zip tied to the front :) From my own personal experience they're a lot more fun to ride than push, still a 100% easier than pushing my ktm 300 from about dead center of the single track at brushy mtn :( Always remember to top it off while back at the truck!

You wouldn't have happen to get that bike from greenwood sc did you?
;) What can I say, I'm a sucker for a good deal. It needs a few more things than the guy stated in the ad. Wheel bearings (SKF 6004-2RS, $7.40/ea with free shipping on ebay, haha), fork seals, and a new return spring in the kicker. But it'll go over rocks and stuff just fine as is, and is way more capable than I am right now. :wheel:

And that explains why I couldn't find it anymore haha. I found another almost identical to it but a lot further away, might just have to go by it before someone else scoops it up too haha
