Anyone used Fastenal to ship big stuff?

My 300 was packaged with spare parts and an adapter ring so I was in the 115+lb range. I believe the best packing I could do was a 2' by 2' box which was actually double boxed. Buyer was also interested in insurance. Both UPS and FEDEX were being ridiculous and telling me I would have to drop it off at a freight location and costs close to $200 with a 2-day ground only??? After spending literally an entire weekend's worth of time packaging and running around I said fuck it and picked fastenal. The last thing I wanted was the package falling off of a conveyor table while in the hands of FEDEX or UPS.

I personally believe fastenal was the safest option. Strap that crate down to the pallet and it will be handled with ease instead of someone trying to man handle it from conveyor to truck to porch.
I have shipped soo much thru them over the years I get a cut over what the walk in price would be by printing my labels at home.W the exception of flat rate boxes I get about a 27% discount on USPS shipping also by printing my own lables.Ive had pretty good look shipping heavy stuff w UPS.I sent four 203 range boxes to a guy in Iceland w no problems.
